About

Kayla is an associate for Barney & Graham, LLC. Kayla earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming in 2018. During this time, she was the secretary of Psi Chi Honor Society and participated in Dr. Gray's sexual assault and trauma lab. Kayla originally pursued a degree in Occupational Therapy to follow in her aunt’s footsteps. However, an internship at a private law firm ultimately inspired her to change her career path. Kayla attended the University of Wyoming College of Law and earned her J.D. in 2021. While attending the College of Law, she was President of the Women’s Law Forum and Secretary for the Wyoming Trial Lawyer’s Association Student Chapter. Kayla is licensed to practice law in the State of Wyoming and focuses her practice in the areas of family law, landlord-tenant law, estate planning, business law, and represents children as a Guardian ad Litem.When Kayla is not in the office she thoroughly enjoys spending time outdoors (preferably with her dogs) hiking, kayaking, camping, and snowboarding. She also enjoys reading, trying her hand at different crafts, traveling, and spending time with her extensive family.
