So he filed the petition and because my partner did not want his family member to be guardian and actually named me to be guardian. When I asked for repayment of all the medical, taxes, and expenses for my partner's health he said he would mention it to the family. He seemed to not even care for my sacrifices I made for my partner. I haven't had wifi in my home because of my partner's family because of the way the account was said up. Once again he said he would mention it to his family. When both lawyers not Giancarlo had understood that my partner wanted ME to be guardian, he told me that in order for the case not to continue, I would have to agree to paying the family member's attorney fees. I asked how much it would be and he said $2,500.00, so I agreed. Then i receive a invoice with an invoice from the niece who had applied for guardianship for $4,000 plus. I immediately called him and asked what this was. He said normally this is added. I said you told me $2,500? He said that's how it usually happens. That's when I asked him if he is representing my partner and me or the niece. I feel he and the other Lawyer railroaded me and took advantage. Whenever I asked a question, it was never answered fully. When he told me the court case will be over the phone, he said it was just to dismiss me as guardian. Then the neice had applied for the estate and i interrupted and the commission hearing the case said this is not the time to discuss that. Giancarlo never prepared me for that and I got upset and actually hung up. He sent an email the next day asking what was that about. I never responded. There was only one time he seemed to express care in my relationship with my partner and he said you must have loved him very much. Of course I loved him. I would never have done anything of what I did except for the fact my partner wanted me to. So I paid $3,500 for me to tell Giancarlo that yes, my partner wanted me to be guardian and then not give us any advice or offer direction for me and my partner to protect us from his family.
