Mr. Weinrich also served as Managing Editor of the Hamline Law Review from 1981-1982. His undergraduate work also reflects academic distinction. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1979, Mr. Weinrich graduated Cum Laude with distinction, and was named to the Dean’s List from 1975-1979.Legal WorkGerald Weinrich began his legal career serving as District Court Law Clerk for the Honorable William J. Nierengarten, Judge of the District Court in Austin, Minnesota. He then was brought on as Associate Attorney to the firm Hoversten, Strom, Johnson and Rysavy in Austin, during which time he practiced in the areas of collections, commercial litigation, real estate, probate, personal injury, insurance defense and criminal defense law. Following his work with this firm he accepted a position as Associate Attorney with Klampe and Nordstrom in Rochester, where he practiced Social Security, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and commercial litigation law. In 1991 Gerald Weinrich opened his own Rochester Law Firm. Since that time he has represented such clients as A & A Electric; Air Quality Solutions, Inc.; Animal Friends, Inc.; Red Wing Aeroplane Co.; TA Consumables; etc.Professional Affiliations and Civic ActivitiesGerald Weinrich is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Association of Justice, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, Olmsted County Bar Association and a past member of the Mower County Bar Association.
