About

I am a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT and a former commanding officer of two Coast Guard Cutters, one stationed in West Palm Beach, FL and the other stationed in DaNang, Viet Nam during the Viet Nam war.  I spent 9 years on active duty with the Coast Guard. After leaving the Coast Guard I spent the next two years as an Assistant State Attorney in West Palm Beach prosecuting felony cases.  The remainder of my legal career has been in private practice.  Although early in my career I represented Ford and General Motors in product liability cases, and Doctors and Hospitals in medical malpractice cases, since 1982 in have limited my practice to individuals who have been the victim of someone else's negligence. I met my wife in law school and we are still married.  We have two daughters and currently three grandsons.
