Ms. Staab handled my complicated divorce case, in the most meticulous, attentive, competent yet kindest and most compassionate way. She knows very well what to go after, in each aspect of a divorce case, and what's rightful, and yet she does not feed unrealistic expectations to her client, for the sake of prolonging a case. I highly recommend her services to anyone going through the daunting and sometimes confusing and overwhelming process of a divorce.
I am incredibly grateful to have had Georgia Staab represent me in securing a final settlement from my divorce. Georgia's extensive legal knowledge, fighting spirit, insightful expertise, and kind heart, absolutely serves her clients well!
Divorce is a daunting, painful experience…the worst time of my life. There are lots of divorce attorneys to choose from. Right from the first interview with Georgia Staab, I was impressed with how attentively she listens, by how organized her office is, and most importantly, her obvious expertise in family law, a product of 15 years in practice. I also appreciated the team of the family law experts in her office who could be consulted as well. She helped me with important changes to my estate planning and will. She is direct, professional and tough when needed; compassionate and kind with her clients, in helping them deal with extraordinarily difficult family issues. I am so grateful to have Georgia as my counselor and advocate. She helped make the whole process go smoothly and as quickly as possible. I highly recommend Georgia Staab – not only as a divorce attorney, but for any other family law matter.
I hired Ms. Staab to help me enforce a juvenile court order to protect my young child from her fathers substance abuse problem. He injured the child as a baby by dropping her resulting in serious head trauma to the child. At the $300 initial consultation Ms. Staab was pleasant and agreed to help me. After then paying the non-refundable retainer of $2500 Ms. Staab called me into her office for a meeting (at $300 an hour) to tell me the court order had a mistake that the judge made and the father was entitled to visit with the child UNSUPERVISED and NOT be enrolled in a substance abuse treatment program. Reluctantly I followed Ms..Staab's professional legal advice as she called it. My understanding was the outpatient treatment program of the father was my child's safety plan. Several times I would question her interpretation of the order and she became abusive. She called me into her office for another 'meeting'. (300 per hour) and said I could lose custody if I didn't comply and that her office had "70 years of experience". I was concerned over the safety of my child and contacted the judge directly. When I told Ms. Staab she became defensive and said "she wont remember" and "don't mention my name." Well, I heard back from the Judge and the father needed to be in a treatment program to visit with the child all along. Thus Georgia was WRONG, counseling me to be in contempt of court and putting my child into danger.. In conclusion, I'm not sure if Georgia is incompetent, greedy or both. She never replied to my email about the Judges ruling but she charged me for reading it. I'm out almost $5000 for nothing, but I'm glad my child will be safe now cause that's what matters most.
