We took my "reckless driving" to jury trial under Mr. Pearson's advisement. He did very well at researching things pertaining to my case and is extremely smart. I ended up with Careless and still had to pay a fine and do a class. I feel that the offer that was presented the day before the trial was what should have been taken, however Mr. Pearson told me that he felt my case was good to take to trial. He also disclosed in a meeting prior that he felt that the case was not a super strong case. HOWEVER! The way Mr. Pearson communicated the 3rd parties supplemental report was not accurate and when we got to court the 3rd parties statement remained as it was in the police report. Had he communicated correctly I would have taken the better deal. $1800,four court dates, a level 3 driving class ($155), and $1000 fee with $885 of it suspended right around the holidays is what he cost me. I think he's a good lawyer but I don't advise you take your case to trial with him unless you KNOW you have a STRONG case.
