I hired Geoff because of our initial interaction. He sounded like he cared and really wanted to help. Once retained for a child custody case we had multiple conversations and meetings. I ALWAYS had to remind him about what we talked about. He wouldn't e-mail me for days and then claim he did. This is my life I didn't have time to play games with him. Nevertheless I continued paying him and hoping for the better. He made me feel like I had a case, I knew I had a case just bad representation. The trail date came and once I got there with my sister we were told that the judge had made up his mind. I don't understand to this day where my right to a fair trial went. I guess out the window with Geoff. I paid him loads of money for nothing but empty promises! I lost time with my son and I am in a terrible situation because of it. You could try hiring his dad who seems to be a force to be reckoned with and only hold a position for junior because of family ties. I hope he really takes the time to make some adjustments on how he handles his clients.

I did not feel like I got any support from Geoff; at one point, I even told him I wanted to discontinue his services so I could try to find a better lawyer (even though I would be out the money I had already paid for his services) and he urged me to stay with him and promised that he would do better moving forward (obviously that wasn't the case).
