Genet isn't the most reliable lawyer, never came prepared for a case, took all my money, and dwelt with my case for 7 years. However we grew a lawyer - client relationship and through it all we came up on top. She won my case and now I am relieved. Thank u genet.

Beware of this lawyer she is worse and no reliable at all save ur self fron going there. Im teeling this from my experience with her i was her client for 3 yers she took all the money cash and never gave me reciept make sure to get receipt when u pay her.she messed up my case and my cousin case because she never file my case and when i move to another lawyer she said she lost my file ..... i suggest from my heart specialy punjabii people dont go there and trap your self.

She is extremely unreliable. She is never available and does not return phone calls. She is very irresponsible. she also lost documents that I gave her for my spouses case. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AS A LAWYER!! might as well represent myself before giving her any more money!

I hired Genet in 2008 finally rec my permanent resident card in 2011(at last). Genet procrastinated the process, she had no urgency what so ever due to the fact the longer she delayed my process the more money I paid her. Genet was unreachable & did not return calls I had to consistently call to follow up on my case, oh what sleepless nights I had when she represented me. I recently contacted her a few weeks ago 2014, it's usually obvious after rec a GCard next will be to file for citizenship Genet deleted my file according to her secretary Genet has my file in storage I gave her a surprise visit in her office the story changed to it was destroyed by hurricane Sandy, I understand natural disasters but it did not hit Court Street so where is the back up on the computer? The secretary said it should be on this flash drive which she plugged in but my file was not on the FD..Genet Getachew at 26 Court Street Brooklyn NY is Not A Reliable Lawyer I do not recommend after she gets your money she will not consider you a person that paid her over $8000.00 In fees she would treat you like just another number and refer you to immigration to figure it out yourself. There is no way you can build client to lawyer trustworthiness with Genet she is not a lawyer u can say has ur back and will assist u I would not recommend not even an animal to her.

I paid in full Genet Getachew's fees for attorney services. Now, as THE result of her gross mishandeling of my case, I risk being deported, and am suffering with stress-induced illnesses.
