Met all basic obligations, deadlines, and standards of communication for the duration of the engagement related to a rental property and lease agreement.
He was hired for my case. He postponed because he had another case that day. Then he postponed again because he was in court for a different case that day as well. Then he postponed a 3rd timebecause he left town. nearly a year later when my trial day came around, he didn't show up to court and the case was postponed yet again. When I asked him to provide me with my case documents and with the evidence/discovery sent over by the state, he refused. This happened several times. When I would contact him about this matter I was given inconsistent answers, excuses, etc. On at least one occasion he hung up on me because he was too busy to talk to me about it. Once I'd had enough, I asked him to recuse himself from my case and I wrote to the court and asked for him to be striken from the matter entirely. I had to hire a new one. I do not recommend him.
Nodded off to sleep during the Initial consultation several times. When I called to discuss the trial the day before, he did not remember the hearing date. He sent an associate to represent me at the hearing who was totally unaware of the details of the case and failed to submit evidence supporting my interests. Luckily, the judge recognized there wasn't a case and suggested remedies for me.
