About
I have been a lawyer since 1996 after graduating from UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles, California. My initial legal experience was in several civil litigation law firms in downtown Los Angeles. In this capacity, I represented clients such as General Motors, the City of Los Angeles, and Los Angeles Unified School District. In addition, it was during this time that I was first introduced to immigraiton law and I would handle some of the immigration matters that came to the law firm I worked at. In 2005, I decided to open my own law firm and focus on immigration law exclusively. I am happy to be able to help my clients with their immigration matters.

Mr. Jimenez is a really terrific lawyer. My husband and I went through a tortuous case from 2011-2013, and he was always there, answering the phone when we called, sending us information, submitting legal paperwork, and helping us stay calm and not panic despite a legal system that seemed designed to make us suffer. My husband (fiancé at the time) was a business owner in a bad neighborhood, and his residency permit had expired. He hadn't been in his home country in 20 years; he was trying to lay low and wait for his American-borne daughter to turn 21 in a year or two. One day he was parked in the driveway of an abandoned property when a group of homeless people came out and started threatening him. He panicked, and instead of backing up, he drove forward a foot or two, striking the building. He then threw it in reverse and drove away. Six months later he got a letter asking him to appear in court to answer to a charge of felony hit and run. The homeless people were claiming he rammed the building on purpose so as to damage their possessions, and then fled the scene – even though his store was across the street. We went to court, and the judge actually believed the accusers and put my beloved in the county jail for two weeks. We spent the whole time absolutely petrified that the case would be referred to ICE and he would be deported. That’s when I hired Mr. Jimenez. First, he looked up the charge in the immigration system’s law books, which are different from the regular kind, and found that, even though it was a felony, it was not a deportable offense because there was no element of “moral turpitude” to it. What a relief! He encouraged us to get married ASAP, and get the paperwork over to him so he could start the process of turning my beloved into a legal American resident. Mr. Jimenez came with us to that awful ICE interview where they tried to claim we were not a real couple, despite two years’ worth of photos together, including our wedding, vacations, day trips, family gatherings. They even sent me a letter saying I was going to have to prove that losing him would be an inordinate hardship to me. Once again, I panicked, called Mr. Jimenez, and he reassured me that everything was fine. In the end, he was 100% right. My husband is now a legal US resident. Thank God for Mr. Jimenez, is all I can say. He charged a reasonable, up-front fee, and he was there for us through the whole thing.
My family and I highly recommend Mr. Jimenez. I was facing deportation to Venezuela and was feeling helpless. I was faced with leaving my family in the U.S. and being sent to an unknown country that I had not been to since I was a young boy. Mr. Jimenez always remained positive and and hopeful until the very end. He was always there to answer any question I had. I m very proud that I am now a resident alien. I could not have done it without Mr. Jimenez. I will continue to refer him and will use him in the future for help with my U.S Citizenship.
The attorney was so helpful throughout the process even thou it was a roller-coaster, he is a good listener and very patient. Spoke to him everytime i had questions, he never directed me to his assistants. Overall, i don't have any regrets hiring him to handle my case. Everyone at the firm were very helpful too, they worked effortlessly to make it happen.
If you are looking for an immigration attorney Mr Jimenez is the best. I remember before I hired (consultation) he was answering all my emails within 2hours even on weekends. I thought it would stop when I hired him. In almost 3 years of process through the final hearing we was still answering my emails with all my questions within 2 hours. He knows what he is doing and knows how to reassure you.
We are very grateful we hired Mr. Jimenez to help my husband with his immigration case. My husband needed two waivers: I-212 and the I-601 in order for re-entry into the US, and we couldn't have done it without Mr. Jimenez. He was very helpful and guided us throughout the process. He was always quick to respond and communicate with us. We trusted his advice and what needed to get done in order for waivers to get approved and he was right on!!! I am glad we took his advice and didn't pressure him because at the end of the day, we knew our case was in good hands! Thank you Gabriel Jimenez for your hard work and dedication!!! My husband/father of my kids can now reunite we us because of you.
I asked Gabriel what should I do to get a working holiday Visa and without using complicated words or long sentences he told me what's the best thing to gain it.
I asked by email for an appointment with Mr Jimenez and described the legal situation I wanted to discuss. He replied with full answers to all of the questions I was planning to consult him about. He COULD have had me come in and charge me a high fee to receive the same answers that he put in his email. His honesty and integrity and kindness in how he treated me made me want to post my experience with him. He is a stunning example of a good and decent attorney and person. Thank you Gabriel !
I strongly recommend Gabriel Jimenez Law Office for all immigration affairs. They are really professionals and know what is needed to have your case successful.
My husband got his green card approved very smoothly in a very short period of time. Many thanks to Atty. Gabriel Jimenez and for the sincere and proficient work.

Mr. Jimenez is an amazing immigration attorney in El Paso by far. I’m so thankful that I came across his profile when I was searching for an immigration attorney to help me with my Citizenship Process. Mr. Jimenez handled my case very professionally and efficiently and in less than a year he was able to help me obtain my citizenship.
