Dom handled our guardianship case expeditiously and knowledgeably. His compassion for our family was a great comfort at such a stressful time.
We relocated from Kentucky to Kansas in August of 2020. We reached out to Graber and Johnson to handle our adult, autistic son's guardianship transfer. Dom was our attorney through this process, and he was thorough, communicative, and responsive every step of the way. Kansas does not have reciprocity with other states guardianships -- so the process had many steps. But I never thought Dom wasn't on top of it or unable to answer my or my wife's questions on status/next steps. He helped keep the stress level low by his professional demeanor and transparency. Job well done.
Dom has been the best attorney. From helping me figure out Social Security and all of the ins and outs to setting up my will, he has walked me through each step, making sure I understood everything that was done and why. His professionalism and optimism has helped make a rough time bearable and knowing that he’s got my back has made the process a lot less stressful for me.
I was appointed power of attorney for a disabled sister and the disability was such that she needed to be placed in an assisted living facility. There was no outside financial support and income was limited to social security disability. It was determined that her small reservoir of funds would run out quickly, she would need to apply for Medicaid, and the process would be overwhelming. We hired the Graber & Johnson Law Group, LLC to represent my sister. Mr. Dominic Cavicchia took the lead in researching and preparing the many government forms required for the Medicaid planning, established a Special Needs Trust and filed a Medicaid HCBS Waiver, all of which was successful. I highly recommend this firm and Mr. Cavicchia especially, for Medicaid assistance or estate planning. You will receive professional service and timely responsiveness.
My sister and I were appointed power of attorney for our disabled sister and were overwhelmed with the amount of paperwork required to get her moved into an assisted living facility. We decided the only way to get through all of this was to hire a Medicaid specialist attorney, specifically the Graber & Johnson Law Group LLC. Mr. Cavicchia handled the myriad of forms for us and always kept us up to date with phone calls and emails. It was a relief knowing our sister was in such good hands!
