My consultation with John Young went very well. Mr. Young was polite, confident and very knowledgeable about Social Security Disability. He always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. I won my case and was awarded SSD. Thank you again Mr. Young.
Anyone going through any case, especially disability knows it is such a long process. I can honestly say that if you want a caring, dedicated lawyer to help ease the stress of all of it, it would be John and his office staff. He told me up front that I needed to be ready to wait it out and that it could take a very long time (which it has) From day one he has been honest and didn't sugar coat anything just to get business. If I had a question/concern I was always able to get quick responses and never made to feel like I was a bother to him or Dena. I truly feel that John is dedicated to fight for your rights and that he will encourage you all the way. I would give him 6 stars but they only allow 5, because I think he is that dedicated to your case
I was run down on my bike by a State vehicle. It should have been a slam dunk situation. The State had a red light and I had the crossing signal. But the State was determined to make the accident my fault! John was recommended to me by a neighbor who thought highly of him. He quickly got on top of my case and several things impressed me: (i) We went out to the accident site and very carefully reviewed what had happened. (ii) John got statements from all the witnesses (they saw the plain truth!) (iii) When the State did their preliminary fact finding, wanting to know every place I had every lived and every band aide that had every been applied to my body, John cut them off. (iv) When the State took my deposition, John was very thorough in preparing me for what to expect and how to effectively present myself. (v) When medical bills got screwed up and unpaid, John straightened things out. (vi) Eventually the case went to arbitration. Again John prepared me very thoroughly for what to expect and had done his own homework to judge what we should expect from the State. (vii) In summary John kept me well informed at all stages of the process and prepared me for the parts I had to play. AND in the end, of course, it was determined that it is not, after all, okay for State Vehicles to run over bicyclists. But without John to make that case, I would have been left high and dry.
I met with Mr Young for an initial consultation seeking advice to help my brother receive social security disability. He was denied on initial application. Mr Young was very kind, patient and respectful towards my brother whose post traumatic brain injury presents difficulties in effective communication. John was also very knowledgable and guided us through the requirements of a successful appeal. My brother was granted disability.
John P. Young is a very good attorney. He has been helpful and is very knowledgeable. He helped me to receive disability and handled an accident at the same time. I would highly recommend this attorney and have on several occasions.
Mr. Young was able to win my case with social security. He was always very kind and informative. He prepared me for all steps and answered any questions I had. He was very good at making me feel at ease in stressful situations.
John was able to get me a timely settlement of my auto personal injury claim. I was very happy with the amount. John Young is an excellent lawyer in my opinion, and I have recommend him and his firm Young and Young to my family and friends.
The most important thing was he understood the situation and he cared. He was in constant communication with me and my Doctors and explain everything to me clearly and made me feel comfortable. To me he went beyond the Call of Duty. I would recommend him to anybody who is in need of his services.
I followed John Young's directions, help him gather all medical data and stayed at or below the monthly income limit. He put the medical history on a computer disc and gave me one. We waited Eighteen Months for our Hearing. We Won!!! Family financial support, accepting charity and fighting the STATE for my medical needs, keeping up to date medical records available to my Lawyer was necessary. Thank You, John Young I was very tired and depressed with fighting for my disability claim. I went through the motions and gave John Young all Medical History (Years). He saved it on a computer disc and gave me one. I kept most of my Doctors with the same Hospital Affiliation. Then I waited, with Family Help, keeping my Bank Account and Spending at (or below) $1000 per month. Eighteen months after the initial denial, we had our hearing and six to eight weeks later ... we won!!! John Young never let me give-up. He was calm. I followed his guidance. He is EXCELLENT !!!
My review of John Young is very positive, and I highly recommend hiring him. As for my case, I was struck by a vehicle in downtown Indianapolis while crossing the street at Ohio and Pennsylvania in May, 2014. I hit my head on the street pretty hard after being hit and knocked down. As a result of that, I was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance and treated for a head wound and minor injuries. At first, I did not want to hire an attorney and just handle it myself. But when the medical bills came in about two months after the incident, I realized that assistance would be needed on my behalf. After meeting with three other potential attorneys, I met with John and immediately felt comfortable with him as he explained his experience and background. I ended up hiring him at the end of that meeting, and have not regretted that decision. From there, the entire settlement process took around 5 months to be completed. John always made sure to keep me updated during that process and alert me to what he needed from me in terms of any documentation. When it was all said and done, John was able to get a very generous settlement on my behalf. That settlement paid all of my medical bills and left some extra money for me as well. Based on that experience, I very much recommend hiring John as an attorney as he does a great job!
