In 2006, I was sued for child support by a former coworker of mine that accused of being the biological father of her child. When Attorney Prainito agreed to represent me, I was nearly out-of-options due to three previous attorneys turning me down. I didn’t know what the end result of the case would be at the time, but I prayed, and left it in Attorney Prainito’s hands. Immediately, he negotiated with the Attorney for Child Support Services to perform a DNA test to establish paternity. After completing my portion of the paternity test, I deployed to Iraq with the Marines, while he handled the case over the following 7 months. At the end of 2006, I returned from Iraq and began preparing for my upcoming court date. At the court appearance, Attorney Prainito informed the court that when I was accused of being the father of this child, I was forced to sign statements by my military command while under duress, that I was denied due-process by my command in the Marine Corps, and was never afforded my right to a paternity test. The attorney representing child support services then informed the court that my accuser had defied 3 court orders to establish paternity through the State of New York where she resided, and that I had cooperated fully with the court and followed through with all of my obligations. Once both sides spoke, the judge stated that because my accuser failed to meet the court’s requests, and because I had fully cooperated, it was in the best-interest of the court to protect my rights as a resident of California; therefore, ruling in my favor. The judged also stated that I was not obligated to child support and if my accuser desired to move forward in the future, she would be mandated to establish paternity. I didn’t know it at the time, but after winning my case, Attorney Prainito told me that he didn’t think we would, in fact, win. Since then, I had not had any form of communication or contact with my accuser until recently when I contacted her about lingering and unanswered questions regarding the accusations she levied against me. It was at this time she informed me that she had lied about the entire situation. When she found out she was pregnant, she knew it wasn’t my child, but proceeded anyway to entrap and frame me. She deliberately set out to make me believe I was the father of her child, she ruined my reputation at work; she refused to establish paternity, and she created an environment that forced me to relocate several times over the next 2 decades. For 20 years, I was called a dead-beat by my coworkers; I was accused of fathering a bastard-child, and as a result have suffered enormous anxiety and stress that forced me to receive counseling. It can even be argued that, because of the weight of this false accusation, I was passed over for promotions and other career opportunities while in the Marine Corps. In the end, I feel semi-vindicated knowing that what I knew the entire time was true; that I was not her child’s biological father. However, I can’t thank Attorney Prainito enough for believing in me, taking my case, being my advocate, and representing me. Without Attorney Prainito’s hard-work and tenacity, this would have destroyed me financially. As I was speaking with my accuser, she told me that Attorney Prainito was an “attack dog” and that he literally put the “fear of God” in her. I can’t thank Attorney Prainito enough for saving my life.

A friend referred me to this office and I am so glad they did. My child's father was only sporadically giving me money and he was dictating as to when he would see our child. Thanks to Mr. Prainito I am now receiving a set amount of Child support every month and we have a court ordered visitation schedule. I only wish I would have hired him sooner.

Mr. Prainito's initial consultation with me was lengthy and reasonably priced. He spent a lot of time listening to the facts of my case and then reviewing the process. I felt comfortable hiring him as he seemed to understand the issues of the case, my concerns and was very experienced in handling child support matters. More importantly I was happy with the outcome of my case as he won me a significant decrease in child support payments.

I hired Mr. Prainito in 2012 to represent me. My ex-husband filed a false contempt charge against me. I also needed to petition the court regarding child/spousal support and visitation issues. Not only did Mr. Prainito have the contempt charge dropped, he also negotiated an excellent support settlement for my son and I. I found Frank to be considerate, helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Even though it was a very stressful situation, I was confident in Frank's ability to win the case and he absolutely came through. I highly recommend Mr. Prainito's services.

I would recommend Mr. Prainito to anyone who needs a caring understanding attorney who puts their clients first. I was shopping for a family law attorney to handle a post judgment problem and had met with three attorney before meeting Mr. Prainito. He demonstrates a clear understanding of the law and quickly pointed out errors in my judgment. He was able to bring the case back to court and set aside the butcher job my prior lawyer had created. He saved me literally thousands of dollars in property that was wrongfully going to my ex spouse. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Avvo represents the atty's and allows the poor reviews to be removed. As I have wrote about Frank and it has been removed. I hired Frank because he was cheap and available for a simple probate issue so I didn't need anyone competent. That's exactally what I got was cheap and available.. His retainer is $3500.00 and initial was free. His office had no others that I saw when I would meet with him. I would discuss plans of action with Frank and two weeks later he had no recollection of anything. He quickly ran through my retainer and then began siphoning off my cash for filing fees. When I learned of this I quickly fired him.. He does not document updated cash balance report until it's too late..

In 2006, I was sued for child support by a former coworker of mine that accused of being the biological father of her child.
