Bernie had mentioned to me that he had been thinking of retiring and negotiating with the Law Firm of Leighton, Katz and Drapeau in Vernon, Connecticut, to take over his case load. As it turns out Bernie had a severe fall, hit his head and within days had passed away. Bernie’s Legal Secretary, Lorrie Cohen was making the move to the firm of Leighton, Katz and Drapeau. Lorrie has been a God-send to me because I have called her numerous times where she has been a sounding board for me, answered questions, listened to me with concerns and always there to help in any way she could.
