My father was an intelligent man, he loved his children and wanted to protect us by leaving a will, along with directions for his wishes regarding a Health Care Directive, Powers of Attorney, and other documents that we would need in the event of his death. After extensive research my father picked Attorney Felicia Value to help him prepare all of his directives. Ms. Value was an excellent choice for my father for a multitude of reasons; she was thorough, professional, and she was a knowledgeable expert for exactly what my father needed. Preparing a will was extremely difficult for my father because it made him face his own mortality, he spent almost a year reviewing and rethinking decisions. Ms. Value was patient and kind, she listened to my father and helped him to understand what would work best for him, she was always available to help re-explain the process and answer our additional questions. If it were not for her expertise and patience I am not sure my father would have finished his will in time. Ms. Value was an excellent choice for my father but also for me after my father passed away and I became the executor of his estate. I had never been an executor before and did not fully understand the magnitude of this job. Ms. Value was an amazing resource, she was just as excellent at guiding me through the probate process as she was at guiding my father through his will preparation. I did not have to choose Ms. Value to be the probate attorney but I am so glad that I did. Ms. Value opened up the probate for me and gave me what I have learned to be the “Gold Standard” for the probate process. The documents she prepared for me made it much easier to pay creditors, close accounts, buy insurance for property that was part of the estate, and deal with any unknowns. Ms. Value spent time explaining what my choices were, along with my duties and obligations as an executor. She was specifically good at giving me choices that would protect the estate. One of the best things Ms. Value did was to give me a written schedule with dates and obligations which kept me informed and gave me a timeline to work from. Ms. Value was always good about returning my calls or emails and was thoughtful and thorough with all of her answers. She was also very conscientious about not spending any unnecessary time that would cost the estate more money. I found her fees extremely reasonable for both the probate work she did for me as well as for the will preparation she did for my father. Because of Ms. Value my job as an executor went smoothly and we were able to get through probate and close my father’s estate in a very reasonable amount of time without excess cost. I have never been an executor before, but I am a retired investigator and I have worked with many attorneys throughout my career, and I know a good attorney when I find one. Felicia Value is an excellent attorney. I highly recommend Felicia Value to anyone who needs help with estate preparation or the probate process.

Felicia Value prepared my Will, Power of Attorney for Financial, Power of Attorney for Healthcare & my Advanced Health Care Directive. The document preparation process was facilitated by Felicia's experience and expertise in this particular area of law. I found the process to be collaborative, well organized and thorough resulting in a a set of documents I am very happy with. Considering the quality of service, Fees are very reasonable. I will recommend Felicia Value to other people in need of this kind of legal service.

Felicia was recommended to me be my sister's local financial planner. My mother had lived in many places, though the majority of the time she lived in Texas. I, as executor, have always lived in Texas. We had a somewhat complicated estate in that my mother owned several real estate interests in Texas, some accounts there, accounts and final legal residence in the State of Washington. Felicia guided me through the entire process in the State of Washinton and facilitated the process concerning the properties in Texas with my local estate attorney. I found her very helpful, efficient and effective. Everyone else with whom she had contact with on my behalf thought the same. Her costs were very fair. She also was very clear and personable to deal with. I can strongly recommend her without any reservation. We would request her advice and assistance again in the future.
