About
F. Robert Radel, II, born in 1957; admitted to the Florida Bar, 1991. Also admitted to the Kentucky Bar, 1982, and Ohio Bar, 1988. Education: Northern Kentucky University (B.A., cum laude, 1979), Salmon P. Chase College of Law (J.D., Order of the Curia, 1982). Bar Association; the Hillsborough County Bar Association; the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida; Southern District of Ohio and Eastern District of Kentucky; and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.Mr. Radel's practice is devoted to third-party liability defense issues, and the defense of self-insureds. He is a former Partner of Butler Pappas, practicing in its Tampa office. Mr. Radel has tried cases in Florida, Ohio and Kentucky, and has had extensive mediation experience throughout the State of Florida. Additionally, he has extensive experience in several areas of large-loss liability defense including, but not limited to, premises liability; long-term health facilities; sexual misconduct; employment; products liability; brain injury; and psychological and neuropsychological claims. He has defended lawsuits filed against churches and other religious and charitable organization; hotels, bars and convenience stores; restaurants and small businesses; long-term care facilities; and manufacturers. Mr. Radel is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), where he has served as chairperson for the Healthcare Practice Section and vice-chairperson of the Pharmaceutical Litigation Section; the Defense Research Institute (DRI), serving as co-chairperson of the Trial Techniques Sub-Committee for the Defense Research Institute's Products Liability Section; and the American Bar Association (ABA). Mr. Radel is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He has chaired and/or spoken at over twenty conferences for the FDCC, DRI and ABA, and given in-house presentations to numerous insurance companies, self-insureds, and church and charitable entities.

very disappointing representation. I'd look elsewhere.
We were assigned this lawyer through our home owner insurance claim/ lawsuit. Throughout our eight months of dealing with him, he was never helpful. He just seemed to forward emails and bill. No attention to our needs or even what was going on with the case. Do not use choose him for your case.
