I first found Mr. DeSmet when I was searching for an attorney to assist with a situation I had encountered regarding my aging mother. I consulted AARP's resources and in the area of elder law Mr. DeSmet was one of that organization's recommended attorneys in the Greater Seattle area. My mother's situation did resolve itself. A few months later my stepfather passed away.
