I was very impressed with Ms. Mindora's handing of this case. She was well prepared and knowledgeable in this area of law. Ms. Mindora was pragmatic while offering a variety of options. She presented herself in a professional manner to the Labor Commissioner, demonstrating her familiarity with the details of this area of litigation. Lastly, the counselor was readily available and promptly returned calls. I would highly recommend this attorney. comm
Erin was very helpful and kept me informed during the whole process. She was able to give me the result i needed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her .
I was attempting to return to work after a year long medical leave due to the loss of an eye and somewhat compromised vision in the other (not work related). The company was very literally interpreting - and on some points misinterpreting - the doctor’s note regarding my ability to work safely. My one and only meeting with them resulted in me being “handshaked” out of the company with a woeful attempt at determining essential job functions or any reasonable accommodations whatsoever. The inter-active form used during the meeting was signed (not by me) and sent off to personnel. I could never return to my former job. At this point I sought legal counsel from Erin Mindoro. Erin’s approach was to not create barriers to communication, or make demands or accusations, but to encourage my employer and me to work with each other for an agreeable result. The letter she sent to my employer was to remind them of their obligation to explore all reasonable accommodations and ways to return me to my former job; a very polite, professional, reminder. I wasn't sure how this letter would be taken by the company but the effect ended up being amazing. All of the sudden there was a second meeting, the signed inter-active form got rolled back, there was a clarification of the doctor’s note, and they brought in a professional to do an essential job function analysis. That’s a lot to get from a single letter. There’s no way I could have done that on my own. I think Erin’s approach is a testament to her experience – it has really kept the process moving. This case is ongoing and Erin and I have communicated on numerous occasions. She is very personable and immediately responsive to any calls, emails, or texts. From my experience with her as my legal counsel, she is very knowledgeable in her field of practice. I would certainly and highly recommend Erin Mindoro for any employment or labor issues. As a note: Although I did not know Erin personally prior to my case, my son takes piano lessons from her mom and that’s how we came in contact. I also have several friends who know her and will, at anytime, give personal assurance to Erin’s integrity and character.
Erin is a sensational attorney, quick to respond to any questions I had, advice given was always in my best interest, very knowledgeable about employment law. I would recommend Erin to anyone looking for an attorney, she is amazing!
Erin has worked tirelessly with me to resolve issues of denial of payment from my longterm disability company. She never gives up, communicates consistently, and is a professional in the truest sense of the word- a skilled expert in these matters.
I contacted her firm and Erin took care of my case (disability policy). She kept me up to date on the details, was able to get help in her office when she needed it from other lawyers, and showed genuine concern for the case. I would return again without hesitating, and recommend her and her office to my friends and family.
