Attorney Erik Johnson was referred to me by a family member in the public defender's office in Santa Clara, to defend my son against a dubious DUI charge. Erik was able to persuade the prosecutor to reduce the charge to wet reckless, due to highly questionable calibration of the breath analysis equipment. Erik then took on the DMV, based on his observation of the unusually large number of samples the sheriff's deputy took of my son's breath, and the wide range of results they got in a very short time period--ranging from well under the legal blood alcohol limit, to borderline overage.
