Working with John Blaisdell was impressive. I'd never had the need for a personal injury lawyer until I was hit by a van while crossing the street. Even though I had the right of way, and was in a crosswalk in broad daylight, the driver and his insurance company were denying any responsibility. In my first meeting with John I found him to be personable and easy to talk to. He established negligence on the part of the driver and said that he would take the case. Then things got interesting. In the second meeting, John told me his prediction of how he thought the case would go. He told me techniques that the insurance company was likely to use to further dissuade me from pursuing the case, how long it would take to come to a settlement, and a ballpark of what that settlement would be. Over the next few months, I was amazed as things unfolded almost exactly as he predicted. Time and time again he knew what the insurance lawyers were going to do before they did it and his original "ballpark" figure came within a 5% margin of the final settlement. Wow. Throughout the process he was extremely knowledgeable and confident. I learned that I could completely trust his judgement. Most impressive.
