He attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, where he played NCAA DII lacrosse and graduated summa-cum-lade. While there, Dillon studied Criminal Justice and Psychology. Afterward, he attended Elon University School of Law in Greensboro. At Elon Law, Dillon was an active member of the Moot Court Board and competed in the Emory Law CRAL Moot Court Competition. He also worked with the Innocence Project, Lawyer on the Line, and received recognition for his Pro Bono service.Dillon coached while he was in law school as a way to give back to his community. During this time, he saw how devastating a divorce and child custody dispute could be for both the kids and their parents. He did everything possible to help his young players get through this tough time, but he knew he could do more.“I became a lawyer from my innate desire to help others. It is what I do, I help fix things.” Before becoming a domestic lawyer, however, Dillon worked in construction for some time. Dillon learned an incredible amount and not just about building. He had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, and he learned how to connect with each person. This experience helps him connect with his clients so he can make sure their voices get heard in court.Unfortunately, sometimes a case may take longer than expected and go through many different phases. It is crucial in these instances to have an attorney that knows how to adapt. Dillon is adept at quickly changing his approach as needed to reach his clients’ goals. One prime example is how Dillon approaches his domestic violence cases.Through his experience in handling domestic violence protective orders and restraining orders, Dillon is highly aware that these are extreme forms of relief that are not granted regularly. One notable case in which he helped a client secure a protective order was particularly challenging because the facts could have been construed to show our client as the aggressor. However, Dillon brought the truth of the matter out at trial to show she was defending her household. This was a big win for the client because she was facing losing custody of her child but instead, she was able to stay with her child. At your initial consultation with attorney Dillon Quinn, you can expect to be met with an open mind and willingness to fight until the end. After listening to your story and goals, Dillon will walk you through each step of the process. He will explain how he plans to reach your goals and why this is the best route for your case. Finally, he will take the time needed to clear up any confusion and answer any questions you may have. When he’s not advocating for his clients, Dillon enjoys playing all kinds of sports, listening to live music, and working on cars as well as DIY projects on his family’s farm.Contact attorney Dillon Quinn for an in-depth conversation about your legal needs.

I saw a video online where Dillon was discussing name changes. My kid is nonbinary and their (dead) name simply didn't fit. Dillon explained the process to us, and now my kid has a name that fits. You will never know how much that means to both of us.
