We hired Eric to assist with a complex legal matter involving estates and the sale of property. Eric's assistance with this matter and attention to detail was exemplary. Our outcome in using Eric's knowledge, skills and abilities was positive and with a successful albeit complicated transaction. I would recommend him to family and friends.

I hired Eric Thorstenberg to handle a lawsuit for me. I asked him to negotiate a settlement for me; I had to call him and initiate each phone conversation. Every time I would call him and ask how the negotiations were going, he would act confused and say, “Oh yeah, I need to call that attorney”. I’m not sure he was ever talking to the attorney that was suing me. He never seemed to have any news for me except “They are considering your offer”. While I was waiting for them to conceder my offer, I received a notice in the mail that the plaintiff had received a judgment against me for $9,500. When I called and asked him what had happened, he told me he would check into it. The next time I heard from him was in a letter he sent me stating that his 4 phone calls had used up my $1000 retainer, and he conceders this matter closed. I could have taken the $1000 I gave him and the energy I spent trying to get him to do his job and gotten a settlement myself. Do yourself a favor, don’t ever hire this man. He is the worst attorney I have ever associated with.
