I used this lawyer for a separation agreement in 1996. At the time I waived spousal support as I was a nurse and never in a million years imagined I would be in an accident 3 years later that would leave me permanently disabled and unable to work. I was told that at anytime due to a significant change of circumstances I could modify the order. Now all these years LATER i AM SERVED WITH DIVORCE PAPERS AND FIND THAT SHE FAILED TO TELL ME OF A CLAUSE MY HUSBAND'S ATTORNEY HAD HER PUT IN THAT THE SEPARATION ORDER WOULD SURVIVE ANY DIVORCE ACTION! Plainly...I am screwed.. I am on social security disability and now because of her oversight cannot even get any support...
