I have helped hundreds of small businesses and entrepreneurs register federal trademarks and protect their brands.​Along with my trademark work,I also frequently help draft and respond to cease and desist letters, social media take-down notices and DMCA take-down notices. I also have experience with copyright law, internet terms of service and privacy policies, as well with corporate formation and employment questions for small businesses and start-ups. A native New Yorker who moved to the west coast after law school,  I now lives in San Francisco. While in law school, I interned in the intellectual property/trademark department at Estee Lauder.  I enjoy meeting clients from all different industries and particuarly enjoy working with emerging companies, technology start-ups and social media companies. My husband has his own San Francisco startup, Storify, and our wedding was featured as a “social media” event in various press outlets.
