After hiring Mr. Payne to represent me in my divorce case, I immediately had the feeling that he didn't care much about the case other than to just "get it done and over with". After the finalization of my divorce, I hired a different attorney for a custody case. After doing so, my new attorney requested my complete file from Mr. Payne. In doing so, we found that he had never followed through with his duties to collect specific forms before the divorce from my now, ex-husband. These were itemized charges on his bill that I paid, that were obviously never done. I would not recommend his services to anyone, unless you have a super easy case and want the affordable option to just "get it done with".
