Being it was my first time needing to hire a lawyer I did my dudiligence and researched in-depth, spoke with multiple attorneys before deciding on Elizabeth Cuccia as my representation, and I could not have made a better choice. I could tell right away she had integrity, was straightforward and honest (which I appreciated, she wasnt going to sit there and waste my time or money to just appease me), and had a strong drive and passion from the moment we spoke in regards to my case. During the entire process she was informative, attentive, and responsive. In the courtroom she showed up focused, professional, assertive and fast on her feet. I can honestly say I wouldnt have made it through the way I did without her there advocating zealously for me! The entire process took many months- and each step of the way Elizabeth did not falter from the true representation of herself - I found her to be trustworthy, always swaying on the side of the law while being compassionate towards my situation. She really does go over and beyond for her clients. If I am ever needing attorney representation again, I will not hesitate to retain Ms. Cuccia.
I was pulled over for what I thought were minor traffic violations, and didn't seek to get anything dismissed until a few days before the court date. However, upon calling the court office, I was informed that I had a criminal violation and a court appearance was mandatory. I looked at the top of my ticket and sure enough it said it was a citation for traffic crimes arrest! The receptionist then gave me the contact information for the public defender's office and told me I should seek legal representation if at all possible (considering how late my attempts would be). As soon as I got off the phone with the court office, I started madly calling attorneys in the area. When I spoke with Ms. Cuccia, in less than a minute she already completely understood my situation, knew EXACTLY the specific emergency proclamation I was referring to, and told me everything I knew to take care of it myself, for free. However, because I am dealing with so much at the moment, and utterly overwhelmed mentally, she agreed to take care of everything for me, at a much, much lower price than other attorneys were asking. She wanted to HELP me. I got the feeling that that was her primary motivation here, not money. She was so kind and patient and empathetic to my situation, my whole situation, not just the traffic citation, which is something I haven't gotten from anyone in a very long time and something she did not need to take the time to listen to. From my own personal experience with her, it really does seem that she is in this to help others who are down on their luck and could really, really use a helping hand for once. I hope she reads this and can at least somewhat understand how much she's helped me, not so much for taking care of the violations, which is important of course, but for her empathy and more importantly, her willingness to actually do something to help me with no strings attached (something I haven't experienced since my mom died), and even more, her exceptional expertise and knowledge to actually accomplish that, and then in the most effective manner possible at that! Now, I had written so much about my very serious situation (nothing to do with the traffic violations) and the pretty bad mental state I've been in for many years due to it, and how just speaking to someone who could actually help me with anything, even just a traffic violation, has already shown how much it's helped me in the most serious (medical--I'm dealing with cancer, among many many other things) aspects of my life in just the past couple days, but it was getting way too long and off-topic for a review people are trying to read to see if an attorney would be a good fit for them. So I've erased all that, and would just like to say to anyone considering working with Ms. Cuccia, please treat her well. She is an angel and I don't want her to ever ever lose her strength to continue helping others so effectively. She is a precious resource, and I hope everyone will respect that!
