I cannot thank Elissa, Willa and Elissa's staff enough for helping me with my divorce. I had tried to do it on my own but hit a few snags. I called Elissa. I explained to Elissa what I did and that I would like this matter resolved in a quick manner. Elissa and her staff were more than helpful to me. They took away the stress I was feeling and the matter was resolved. I highly recommend Elissa and her office for such legal matters. Thank you again everyone for your help. Very much appreciated.
Elissa and her team really know what they are doing. They helped me with my divorce and we won in court.
Elissa is a great lawyer. I was really scared, but she helped me through the process and explained it to me in a way that I understood. I'm so happy I chose her. Things really worked out for me.
I am very satisfied with the representation I received from Elissa and her staff from the initial consultation until the divorce was finalized. I was counseled on various strategies and options, then advised of the most probable outcomes of each, allowing me to make what I believe were informed choices on how I wanted to proceed through each step in the divorce. Elissa’s staff kept me well informed, through emails and phone calls, of the status of each filing and procedure. I feel very strongly that Elissa had my best interests as her priority in the divorce not her billed hours as has been my experience with attorneys in the past. I received, for the first time from an attorney, a sizable refund from my escrow account reinforcing that Elissa is concerned about her clients, not their purses. I was charged a very reasonable fee for the entire process. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Elissa and her staff to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, ethical, and compassionate attorney.
Elissa did a fantastic job for me. She was very smart and explained things in a way that I understood. It's scary process, and being a man I thought I would lose custody and all of my money, but Elissa protected me and my kids.
Elissa was very smart and helped me get my children back. She also helped me get support money from my husband. I highly recommend her.
I found Elissa to be helpful and knowledgeable during a very difficult time in my life. She explained different divorce options to me in a clear and easy manner. I was scared about losing my children and she fought for me and was successful. I would definitely recommend her.
Elissa is very professional, well responsive, and knowledgeable. During my case processing, she kept me well informed, and worked hard for my benefits. Even thou my case was not successful due to the county court problem, I still would highly recommend her services to anyone I know.
Honest, but showed a clear bias toward women. For instance, I had some investments from before the marriage for which my ex-wife was entitled to half the increase (by law). I asked what if my investments had lost money, then would she have that decrease applied to any amount owed from, say, the house. Elissa replied with glee, "Absolutely not!"
Maybe was a bad day for her, but one can do alot better. First strike was a set price was negotiated for a conference, then 2 weeks later billed for more money under guise of contract I had signed. A person is only as good as their word, and when price was negotiated it was just that, a price, not a retainer. Second strike was opposing male council was rather pushy and she was definitely intimidated by him. Third strike was during review of agreement paperwork made by court officers there was an error in the terminology used and I was the one that caught it before signing, not her. So I am at a loss of what I actually paid her for at this point. I emailed her questioning the charges as they were not what we agreed to, gave her time to send my check back in good faith, but she chose to cash it hence this review. YMMV, but better to shop around some more.
