Elina followed up with me the next morning and was kind enough to look again into the history of my property taxes. She assured me that my taxes were all paid current. Knowing that I'm a first time home buyer, she went a step further by giving me a comprehensive refresher on how my upcoming taxes would be paid by the mortgage company, when to check its status and how to appeal my taxes down the road.
