I interviewed several attorneys and I feel lucky to have found Ed and Lauren. They were always professional, explained possible and likely outcomes with clarity and helped me to not lose my mind with worry. They were available to answer questions (when needed) and I always felt like I had the best representation possible. Given the facts in my case, I am really pleased with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation, should the need arise. Ed's past experience as an MVA judge not only helped me understand a complicated process, but he also saved my license (without any restrictions) with equal parts skill and luck.
Edward and Lauren had my best interest at heart and made sure I was aware of every possible outcome. They brought up strong argumentative points and worked well as a team.
It was my first DWI offense and hopefully my last. I was leaving a concert after having some drinks. I felt okay to drive and the concert wasn't far from my house. As I was leaving I forgot to put on my headlights. I saw the cops following me and they eventually pulled me over. The officer asked if I had drinks and I said yes. He asked me to step out the car and I did all the field tests. After doing a breathalyzer they told me they were gonna take me in. At the station I blew .06 the state tried to get me for DWI which is the lesser offense. They claimed I was buzzed driving. Mr Taytor knows the law very well and he is very familiar with all the judges. And more importantly he knows how to the system works. The officers had body cam footage which they failed to present the first court appearance. So Mr Tayter asked for the case to be postponed until they give him the footage to review. The second court date came and the state handed him the footage as he walked into the courtroom giving him no time to prepare beforehand. He asked the judge for the case to be dismissed because the state had ample time to give him the footage but gives it to him as we walked in. And the judge went for it. Case got dismissed and is now expunged. I ended up finding out that I did very well on my field tests and I was upset that I had to go through all of this. But I'm glad that I chose him to be my lawyer. Because he fought for me. Whereas other lawyers I went to wanted me to take a PBJ which is not something I needed on my record
What he said would happen, happened! I really enjoyed working with Ed -- he's personable, direct, returns phone calls and really knows his stuff! I'd recommend his services to anyone!
We used Ed in a family DUI matter - he was fair, had great communication, and knew the DUI/criminal justice system like the back of his hand. He quoted us a flat fee which was reasonable, and didn't charge extra for additional court visits, which was needed in our case. He has a quick mind and sharp wit, which put us at ease in our dealings. We are quite satisfied with our experience of Ed, and can wholeheartedly recommend him - he is a pleasure to work with.
Wonderful very informative my job was on the line an he help me build confidence within the case I had with my DUI I highly recommend him to anyone
I called Ed Tayter on a Saturday for a first-time DUI offense in PG County, MD. I was most impressed with his website out of the 5 or 6 I looked at because it was incredibly informative and because of his bio/experience. He called back within the hour (possibly even less), which definitely got my attention. He met me the next day, a Sunday, in his office and conducted a thorough, efficient, and professional intake. Due to rescheduling on the part of the county, not on our end, the case took a full year, but in the end, Ed both won my case and in fact got it expunged. I would highly recommend him.
I searched carefully online for a lawyer to handle my DUI case. It was imperative that I do my homework on my lawyer as this was my 2nd DUI. My first was in another state years ago, and the 2nd was in the state of Maryland. When I found Ed I looked at his reviews and seen that he had dealt with 2nd time DUIs, and they were all positive. The initial consultation was kind of weird as he is a fast talking kind of guy, and for me all that lawyer mumbo jumbo is gibberish to me lol. I will have to say though, the man knows what he was talking about. Didn't make any promises to me at all, but he most definitely went to battle for me. Took over a year of a fight, but overall...not guilty even with my blood being drawn as evidence. I plead guilty to some charges, but no jail...and got to see my family for the holidays. THANK YOU ED!
Attorney Edward Tayter is indeed, as the rating reveals, "as good as it gets"! My boyfriend's future was being endangered by a possible DUI conviction; his deployment as a member of the US military was jeopardized as a result of this years-old charge. Atty Tayter was not only patient with the time constraints and demands placed on the case (eg. were the case not completely resolved by a certain deadline, my boyfriend would have been deprived of his deployment status), but was extremely cool under all the pressure, continuously developing strategies and being flexible to our needs. In addition to all of this, he was extremely understanding in terms of financing for his services. All in all, Mr. Tayter is the complete package. As a relieved girlfriend, he has my undying gratitude, and as a law student myself, I can say that from a legal perspective, he has my definite respect.
In November I thought my life was over, I destroyed my family life and will be headed to jail for months... After meeting with three different attorneys about my case I was sure I was done for! So I decided to search DUI attorney in Maryland The first name was Ed Tayter DUI attorney. So then I googled Ed Tayter Dui attorney right off the bat I was very impressed with his experience. Soon After I called Mr. Tayter and left a message no more than two minutes past before he responded, I emailed him my charges told him what I remembered after about a half an hour of being on the phone I knew Mr. Tayter was the attorney for me he was patient, knowledgeable, and understanding! Thanks to Mr. Tayter I was able to keep my license, And end up with A great outcome in court, much better than I could have ever imagined!!! He did not stop until he got the best he could for me!!! I walked out of court today feeling as if a house has been lifted off my shoulders! Mr. Tayter is a great attorney, and someone I strongly recommend!!!
