He is well versed in the requirements and benefits of Maryland and the District of Columbia Wage Payment and Collection Laws as well as the Fair Labor Standards Act.Business clients of the firm have also benefited from Eddie’s knowledge of employment requirements under Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia and federal law. Eddie brings a unique perspective of how to defend against the tactics of an employee’s attorney and how to preemptively protect companies from wage violation lawsuits. Eddie also represents clients in administrative actions brought by the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection and the Howard County Office of Human Rights.As a member commercial litigation department of the firm, Eddie has also been involved in commercial contract disputes, partnership dissolutions and complex business controversy litigation.While in law school, Eddie served as Editor-in-Chief for the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class.
