Chuck Tidman is a partner in Bowditch & Dewey LLP’s Worcester office and represents corporate and bank clients throughout the state.  He chairs the Firm's Manufacturers and Distributors Industry Group, and for many years served as a member of the Firm's Management Committee.  As outside general counsel to clients, he offers solutions to complex business problems involving a range of issues including ownership, structure, planning, management, operations, business disputes and finance. Chuck uses his extensive business education and experience to develop an intimate understanding of the client's industry, products and services, strategies and goals. Clients appreciate Chuck’s ability to partner with them to solve problems, take advantage of opportunities and provide legal perspective to their business plans.  His general counsel services are an excellent fit for clients who need consistent, informed legal counsel without the expense of in-house general counsel.He also has broad experience in business and financial transactions, including service as counsel to clients in the purchase or sale of businesses, negotiation of key contracts and financing transactions.For over twenty-five years, Chuck has represented banks across the state in commercial, industrial and real estate financing transactions, loans to construct solar and hydro power generating facilities, loan workouts, bankruptcy and as counsel to bank executives on a variety of management and strategic issues.  As counsel to banks in hundreds of transactions across a wide spectrum of financing facilities, he provides unique perspective drawn from his many years of experience as bank counsel and his experience as a former banker.
