I researched and interviewed a few different attorneys due to my complicated case and hired Doug after meeting with him. A friend recommended him. Doug was tremendous, he was calm, confident, reliable, strong, helpful, educated and responsive throughout the process. I would highly recommend him. I'm grateful for his vast knowledge and service. I couldn't have gotten through it and gotten all I wanted and needed without him.
Hiring Doug has been & continues to be the best decision I could have ever made. The firm was there for me in a time of total & complete crisis & despair. Doug has the inate ability to understand when client needs some tough love about there ongoing child custody issue, or a word of advice. He has a keen ability to keep you rational when we as parents are at our most irrational state, when it comes to our most precious thing our children. Doug and Howard are able to more than competently represent you in the courtroom, but more importantly (as I have now learned & experienced) are strong, compassionate, advocate in the months it can take to resolve these very emotional trying issues of again the most important thing in the world OUR CHILDREN. They get results, but genuinely care about you & your family & prepare you for & continue to support you thru the ever changing very challenging aspect of 'Coparenting' which is very RARE in the legal field.
I had a very complicated case and my now ex was out to destroy me financially and emotionally. Doug understood my issues and spent the time to not only navigate through the court process, but to help me get through it with my sanity. I'd recommend him and his firm to anyone.
Absolutely terrible law firm. Received a bad judgment in a divorce case, spoke to Attorney Doug Ehrman. Ehrman agreed that it was a bad judgement and stated that he could take care of that and get it reversed, no problem. Over the next couple of months he kept tacking on legal fees and billing hours for issues unrelated to the bad judgement. I contacted him at one point and told him to stop billing me for things unrelated to the judgement. In the meantime he failed to file a motion to reconsider the judgement in a timely manner and the motion was rejected based on that. When I contacted him about that he made up an excuse as to why he filed late and tried to talk his way into doing extra billable work. I fired him on the spot and continued to get billed. Now over $5,000.00 in fees and neither he nor the other lawyers in the firm did one thing to get me closer to being divorced.
