About

I have practiced law for over 35 years.  My practice is dedicated to divorce, dissolution, and other family law cases.  Family law cases include cases dealing with paternity, custody, shared parenting, child support, property and debt division, and spousal support (alimony). These cases sometimes involve professional practices, interestes in small businesses, and complex financial assets. In addition to handling cases on the trial level, I also handle objections and appeals.  I have won two family law cases in the Supreme Court of Ohio.  Videos of my Supreme Court cases can be seen at the Ohio Supreme Court's website and at my firm's website, www.DivorceAndDissolution.com. My office is located in Columbus, Ohio.  Thus, I do most of my work in Franklin and Delaware Counties.  However, I am happy to handle cases anywhere in the State of Ohio.

Mr. Dougherty is a terrible individual. He treats his clients and opposing parties with disrespect. His hostility creates more issues than necessary between parties. His approach is noticed by the Court where they rarely relate to his arguments.
