About

Giving lawyers a better name.Diane Pitcher has focused her practice specifically on criminal defense (mainly controlled substances) and family law (Community Property and Marital Property) so she knows these areas of law extremely well.  Currently, she is the only female attorney in Cache Valley licensed to practice law in both Idaho and Utah. Further,  she practices in both states on a substantially equal basis. If you are getting a divorce, seeking custody, or child support or you have been charged with a drug offense, don't choose a "general practice" attorney who does a little bit of everything because you need a lawyer that knows the laws AND how the judges think and rule on specific issues.   Diane will work after hours and on weekends when necessary to accommodate her client's needs. She offers low fees for divorces/custody matters and flat rates for most criminal cases that can work with most budgets.  This is why clients are saying that she is giving lawyers a better name.

Hired ms. Pitcher to assist with 2 debt collection situations. She was able to get a default judgement overturned and negotiated a settlement amount that was less than original debt. Also was being garnished for debt that was not mine, she was able to stop garnishment and get my money back in 1 day! Now that's service! Would recommend her to anyone!

I was taken back to court by my exwife to modify my divorce decree. We had divorced in Utah and my ex had moved to Preston Idaho during the last 8 years of our divorce. My ex sued me in Idaho without changing jurisdiction from Utah to Idaho. I had previously been working with a lawyer in Draper that did not know Idaho law. We had been given some information that was not correct that scared us in our chances to be able to fight. I reached out to many lawyers in the Cache Valley area. I sent them the request to modify to review the papers and set up appointments to discuss the case. I met with several lawyers however NONE had the level of experience that Diane had in both States. Quite frankly none had the level of confidence or the pair of balls that Diane has either. I don't know how else to put that but it was something that we desperately needed for our case. Diane initially called us at home at 9 pm to discuss our case and give my wife and I hope. I was so impressed with that. We hired her and she has worked with us on payments, her office has been great to work with, they are knowledgeable. They are busy as hell too, yet they will take the time to individualize your case. There have been multiple times where my wife and I have been discussing our case and our conversation has turned outside the case to personal matters and Diane is very careful not to charge us for those, which was extremely thoughtful because of the costs that are involved with every aspect of litigation. Diane held our hand and walked us through this very scary process every step of the way and had the confidence when we did not. We go to court on 1/30 to decide the fate of our custody with our children. I wanted to write this review regardless of the outcome of the case because win or lose we have found a genuine friend and respected lawyer in Diane Pitcher and Ryan Holdaway and I feel that is unusual in working with lawyers. I would recommend her to anyone and I already have. Give her a call and see what she can do. She is the warrior that we needed when we needed it most and I will forever be grateful to her.

I have worked with Diane extensively over the years. I can say without reservation that she is an exceptional attorney. Her paperwork is well done, her attention to detail is remarkable, her opinions are to the point. She will tell it like it is, so you know where you stand and does not give false, inflated, rhetoric, or bloviations. She helps you understand the reality of your situation. Frankly, a breath of fresh air compared to some Attorneys I have dealt with. She does not do "assembly line", lack luster representation. Each client gets individual attention regarding the nuances of their case. She genuinely cares and is concerned for her clients, like no other attorney I have ever met.
