I have had many needs for lawyers with this case , divorce and child custody, being one of the most important cases and I had hired a local attny for this case. He was horrible and weeks before trial I had to fire him. I was referred to Diane from a family friend and the first time I spoke with her I knew she was meant to be my attny. I’ve never had someone fight for me like she has. She has gone far and beyond the call of duty , if I had a question at 11pm she answered and would talk me through it! Mrs Diane Oraif was all about family and was super caring throughout the whole process. There were times I was frustrated and ready to give up after how bad my spouse did me, but she kept me engaged and looking at the end result, and trying to not stress over the process and time it took. Saying my divorce was a nightmare would be putting it mildly. The amount of time she spent with me at all hours of the day was amazing, and her explanations of the stuff I didn't understand was a god send. She helped me get to the finish line with everything I wanted out of the divorce. I highly recommend her.

Diane Oraif is an excellent attorney, she is handling the adoption of our little girl, she has gone out of her way in my book to do the research and take the time to explain to me what I don't understand about adoption laws. She has done this in a very timely fashion. She is reachable to me by phone most anytime I calm or text, I find it easier for to contact her by email, either way her response time is awesome. Ms. Oraif really knows what she's doing. I feel that if I had hired a different attorney, I would have lost my case. The research she did made all the difference, and she seems to really care about her clients. Representing her clients seems to be much more than just a job to her. She cares what happens to us, how a judge's decisions can affect her client's lives.

If something could not be filed, or if there was a problem, this attorney was GREAT at communicating what the problem was. DONT hire Mrs. Oraif! She comes across as caring until you actually hire her! Then her lack of organization starts to show. She doesnt have an assist to help her stay organized so its impossible for her to keep up with calls, texts, emails, in office appts, etc. I also think it's ironic that the negative posts that other clients have posted are very similar to my experience... yet in Mrs Oraif's responses she blames the client or claims they are fake reviews. I guess she has to say something to try and save herself... even if it's to lie about her own clients! I hired her for an uncontested divorce and would have missed my court date that she failed to inform me about but I had been messaging her for 2 days regarding another matter regarding my case. She finally called me the night before my court date and asked if I was going to make it. I had no idea what she was talking about. I then had to make last minute changes in my work schedule and thankfully my employer was very understanding. As I was waiting on my case to be finalized she told me she would be checking and would let me know when it was finalized. Well, days turned into weeks and every few days I would message her asking about my status. She gave me lame excuse after lame excuse. A friend finally told me to call the courthouse myself. When I did, I found out the divorce had been finalized for 3 months... just a few days after I had signed the papers!!! And yet she was too busy and too lazy to bother even finishing what I paid her for and check and inform me! I had to go to the courthouse myself and explain why I never recieved my papers from my own lawyer. Not only that, I had messaged her multiple times regarding child support papers I received in the mail that I didnt understand and again she kept blowing me off. Because I didnt respond to the papers, child support was not garnished like the court apparently ordered but I was unaware. I sent her an email letting her know my disappointment... and I never got a response. She will probably bash me or blame something else in response to this review but if you or anyone you know are considering hiring her, DONT ignore the negative reviews! They are there for a reason! Listen to your instincts carefully on this one!!!!

This is by far the worst lawyer i have come across. She has VERY little experience. as you can see she has only been licensed for 5 years. Procrastinates soooo much and does not send in important documentation on a timely manner which caused my case to be denied because she said " the papers were laying on her desk and she forgot to send them." and said i would have to pay the fees AGAIN in order to open the case back up. very irresponsible and forgetful. I have worked with many lawyers in the past and have NEVER seen one as unknowlegable as Diane Oraif. Many times she had to call other lawyers to get advice on how to go about the case.
