I was very disappointed with Mr. Murphy's services. Let me first say that I did receive a low sentence so that does not involve opinion. Mr. Murphy charged a very high price. He was not familiar with my case at all. On the day of sentencing he asked questions that were answered the whole being his client. His daughter took care of my whole case. His closing argument had nothing to do with my case. Very disappointed.

My experience was not good, unfortunately. Dennis did not appear to be prepared to argue my case, though he had been representing me in a military legal proceeding for about 18 months. His closing argument during the hearing was so rambling and disjointed that the military attorney assisting in the case had to pass him a note telling him that it was time to wrap it up. During the hearing I had to give him notes to prompt him to ask certain questions that were obvious even to someone without a law degree. At one point he and the military lawyer adjourned to the hallway to discuss an issue about calling a witness that should have been decided before the hearing even began. During this ad hoc sidebar, Dennis spoke so loudly, the board members could clearly hear him speaking from the hallway about issues they should not have heard and I had to excuse myself and tell him to keep his voice down. I honestly feel that I could have done a better job of representing myself.
