Deb Schuster was recommended by the Alzheimer's Assn and was SO helpful in advising my husband and I on geriatric issues that will be coming up for us. Her expertise made us feel in control of our situation and up-to-date with health care initiatives, power of attorney and will. Her office and support staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Our experience with Debra could not have been better. She is an extremely knowledgeable, empathetic and sympathetic individual who obviously cares a great deal about the people she works with, perhaps especially so with her elder clients. We feel she provided us with the best possible advice and help we could have obtained in relation to our legal questions and document preparation. We will definitely be returning to her whenever we are in need of any other legal advice or services.

My elderly aunt has always been independent and private with her financial affairs. She has developed dementia and combined with many other health issues, can no longer care for herself. It was extremely important for me, as her only close relative, to be named power of attorney to look after her affairs. Because of Aunt's health issues, we had to reschedule appointments several times. On the day of the first appointment, Ms Schuster had an emergency and sent her associate to meet with us in Aunt's apartment. Aunt was not happy with the associate and uncooperative, but we were able to get the POA paperwork started. Ms Schuster's associate then handled the POA completion and signing. Since then, I met with Ms Schuster for an hour at her offices to discuss how I can best deal with Aunt's financial issues. She was friendly and helpful. I have very limited experience with lawyers, but I would recommend Ms Schuster as an elder care attorney.

Ms. Schuster is very professional while also being down to earth with clients, especially elderly clients who may have difficulty hearing or may need a little extra time with her. As an out-of-town attorney-in-fact, she is very responsive to my emails and phone calls and keeps me informed.

Ms. Debra K. Schuster is compassionate and true to her word. She is exactly what my mom and I needed. She is very knowledgeable and came highly recommended by people in the Health Care business. Ms. Schuster is very thorough and covered topics that I hadn't even thought to ask. All I can say is that anyone who consults with her expertise will be fully satisfied. I would recommend Ms. Schuster and her firm to all of my friends and family because they will be in her capable hands. Our thanks to Ms. Schuster and her staff for all of their hard work. Sincerely, Diane

Debra Schuster updated our will and trust documents. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She went through all of the documents section by section to make sure we understood everything in the documents and readily edited the document pursuant to our discussions before finalizing them. With all of the legal-ease language, she was extremely patient with us, answering all of our questions.

Ms. Schuster was an elder law attorney for my mother and handled her affairs for many years. Knowing her and her expertise during those years we did not hesitate to retain her for ourselves. Our questions are always promptly and thoroughly responded to and we trust her advice implicitly.

My family hired Debra to represent them in a guardianship case. After months of nothing and tens of thousands of dollars, absolutely nothing was accomplished and we have now been restricted from any contact with our family member (whom was placed in a home against her will). She did not do any research for our case, emails sent with incorrect information, did not follow through with the witnesses, did not argue State and Federal regulations that are being violated, etc.. She accepted this case to get her foot in the door with her new law firm and collected the money!
