About
Brian W. Wood's law practice focuses on Civil Litigation. A percentage of Mr. Wood's litigation practice involves insurance defense files for several national liability insurers. Additionally, Mr. Wood handles numerous Plaintiff's cases, including but not limited to, trucking accidents, automobile accidents, and nursing home cases. Mr. Wood was born on a military base in Neurnberg, Germany, but returned to the United States at an early age and was raised in Hays, Kansas. He attended college at the University of Kansas where he received his undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1990. He then attended law school at the University of Kansas where he received his Juris Doctor in 1993. After obtaining his degrees Mr. Wood moved to Salina, Kansas in 1993 to join the law firm of Hampton & Royce, L.C. He became a partner in 1997. Mr. Wood is actively involved in the Salina community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and has coached numerous youth basketball teams. He has formally been on the Board of Directors of the Salina Community Theater and an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Salina. He has also been a United Way volunteer. Mr. Wood and his wife, Julie, have three daughters: Emily, Lindsay, and Lauren.
