We hired Morgan Given and her colleague Brianna Meyer, who assisted Morgan at the beginning of our case, and then took over our case while Morgan was on maternity leave, to guide us and represent us during the most difficult and heartbreaking time our family has faced. We were intervenors, as grandparents, in a custody dispute regarding our granddaughter, whose parents (our son and our granddaughter’s mother) were going through an unusually complicated and contentious custody case. Both Morgan and Brianna were extremely professional, reliable and trustworthy every step of the way. They responded to our inquiries quickly, translated “legalese” for us after every court zoom call so we had a full understanding of all of the issues, and just in general helped us understand what our rights were, what our options were, and what they thought was the best path to pursue. Beyond that, on a more personal level, they were both also very caring and kind, and gave us wonderful advice and support as we made our way through this difficult process. We believe they gave us excellent representation, and give them the highest endorsement. They got us grandparent visitations, which was why we hired them. If, and when, we need legal representation again regarding this matter, we will hire them again without hesitation.

Brianna was my legal counsel for my uncontested divorce. She understood the sense of urgency as well as my lack of understanding of the process. She explained the process and what to expect, held to her role and responsibility and was quick to respond to questions. Our divorce was on hold for years because of the confusing process, Brianna was able to push us forward within 4 weeks to a dissolution.

Brianna was wonderful to work with. She made an effort to understand my feelings and perspective on all issues, and was very compassionate and personable. She was extremely responsive and attentive to all my questions and exhibited a great amount of patience. Brianna worked hard to resolve all my issues, and I am extremely pleased with the end result. I would strongly recommend Brianna Meyer!

Unfortunately, I cannot, in good faith, recommend Brianna Meyer as a divorce attorney. I am disappointed to report that, unlike the other reviewers, my experience was subpar. I hired a lawyer to assist me with legal advice and procedures in one of my most vulnerable times. I felt as if I were a burden to her the entire time. In one specific instance, I asked why my ex husband would suggest removing language from my proposed no contact order and her response was, "what you are asking me to do is read someone's mind." If she did not understand that I was asking what legal ramifications removing the language had, she should have asked clarifying questions to understand. The resistance I was met with when asking for legal advice or even attempting to get in contact with my attorney was quite off putting. My bill was around $5,000 total for my divorce. I feel that this number was inflated based on the unnecessary communications we had where I would have to constantly ask for a follow up or repeatedly send over the same list. There was also emotional abuse in my marriage that seemed to be pushed to the wayside and danced around. Instead of being clear and upfront that she was not going to assist me with this aspect of my case, I was deferred several times until my bill was too high for me to walk away and hire an attorney that would. I feel as if I had to give up my right to pursue legal action for the abuse I suffered because my attorney was unwilling to be honest and clear with me from the beginning. I was not prepared for court and unaware of what to even expect in the final court date. After my case was closed in court, it took a full month and several emails from me to my attorney to get the judgement that she promised to forward once it was sent to her. This judgement has been sent, but as with other communications, only once I CC'ed her boss. I asked for legal advice because I was in fear that my no contact order was being violated and she has yet to respond, a month later. I would have loved to recommend Brianna as an attorney, but my experience was unpleasant at best.
