Our son, a two tour combat medic was involved in a serious federal case. This process continued for almost 5 years in the courts. Several psychologist and other experts testified that the traumas that our son experienced in Iraq were contributing factors in his decisions that led to his being charged by the government. At the end of the 5 years, the federal judge did not sentence our son to any prison time. The government appealed and his judgement was overturned at the appeals level. He was scheduled to be sentenced but Mr. Sidhu found out about the case and offered to take our son's case to the Supreme Court, a long shot. Mr. Sidhu has spent hours on this case and we have been notified that the case has passed a big hurdle. Even though the odds are not in our favor, passing the first major hurdle has given us hope. We are so grateful for all of his work and the professionalism that he has shown throughout this process. He is an amazing person and we are thankful for his gifts.

Dave is a saint in disguise of a Lawyer. A man, who genuinely cares and has a tremendous passion for what he does whether it is teaching law to University students or fighting for his client’s interests in an Appellate court. He is an academic, a scholar of constitutional and criminal law, and a champion of civil rights. I consulted Dave on an EEOC discrimination case. Despite his very busy schedule, Dave stepped up to help me guide through the appeal process on a pro bono basis. His commitment to helping expand access to justice for those who may not be able to afford is remarkable and quite touching.
