I've hired David for several matters. He is professional and an adept practitioner. In one matter I prevailed, and in one I did not win. Law works that way. It's always hard to lose a case but sometimes the law is not in your favor. Was I upset? Yes. I couldn't have had better representation. David did a great job and I would hire him again. I retained David Barrett for a trademark infringment case and got nothing but empty promises and zero results! I had to call him on a regular basis just to get updates on my case, which was ultimately lost because he missed a filing deadline. In my opinion there are much better trademark/patent attorneys in Sacramento. His mistake ended up costing me plenty.
