Based on my experience with Beck, who unfortunately handled my divorce several years ago, I could never give a recommendation to anyone looking for competent legal services. His business demeanor reflected laziness and unconcern and his secretary cannot spell. (I had to get out my red pen each time and resubmit every document for correction and assist with conjugation and basic sentence structure. This was only one reason causing delays in the process.) When papers were submitted and not responded to within the allowable time frame and I suggested that we follow through to the next step in the process he always had an excuse why we should just sit and wait for response. Which we dd. At his "professional recommendation" we did not sue for child support or alimony after (after a 30-yr marriage) because I was told that there may come a time when (husband) would financially qualify to seek and receive alimony from me. I should have handled it myself with my NOLO guide and saved a lot of money. Whether or not this review is accepted for publication, he can be assured that after speaking to people through the years about my experience with him, his name is not held in high regard. He should not be practicing law. Thank you
