I wish I could give Stimpson and his team more than five stars! Stimpson was my attorney for a drawn out - emotional case. He kept me level headed, focused, and most importantly, prepared. He always answered every single question I had throughout the process and always took time to listen to my concerns. Stimpson tells it to you just like it is - whether you like it or not. I genuinely appreciate his advice, his honesty, and his straightforward attitude. He never filled my mind with unrealistic expectations, always reminding me that no matter the outcome - everything was going to be okay. Stimpson is knowledgeable of the law, passionate about what he does, professional on every level, and personable with his clients. He always made time in his schedule for a meeting or to give me a phone call. Stimpson and his staff kept me updated and well informed throughout our entire process. My fight was his fight and that was evident in the courtroom. Stimpson was worth every. single. penny. A BIG thank you to him and his team - I definitely will be recommending Stimpson & Associates whenever I can.
Dave helped me navigate all the paperwork and rules involved with handling my father's estate. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer and would gladly work with him again.
I have referred multiple clients to David Stimpson for Estate Planning. I have followed up with those clients and all have had nothing but good things to say about Dave and his staff. They leave with a thorough understanding of their trusts and estate plans and how to utilize them through their lives.
Felt like the issue was handled professionally and with expertise. I wished I had come to Stimpson & Associates PC first. Dave explained every step of the process and we were able to achieve a positive outcome. I would recommed Stimpson & Associates to anyone and have told my friends to call if they have a problem and talk to Dave.
Going through a divorce with an understanding attorney like David Stimpson, makes the entire experience less scary and very comforting knowing you have someone on your side who is awesome at what they do and always there to explain the intimidating process. I recommend this office to everyone because not only did I get the results I was looking for, but I now know who I will go to if I ever have any problems in the future. They do it all!
Dave assisted me with a name change case. I was very pleased with the outcome and his respectful personality and understanding my case. I was satisfied with the knowledge of the law and assistance and friendly staff personnel. I was unsure of the proceedings that were associated with the name change but I felt that I was well informed by the staff and attorney that the end result was exactly what I was looking for.
I was told about David from a friend. So I had a review with he an hired him that day. I would highly recommend him to others. He is very up to date with the state laws an stands behind his client.
This lawyer does not care about his clients. I hired him for a custody case, he would tell me all the things he would push for in court, and then fold like a cheap lawn chair. He would constantly kick the can down the road just to keep accruing billable hours, but would not address concerns I specifically asked to address. His firm will charge for every postage stamp used, yet kept a $40 flash drive of mine I left with them just to transfer files off of. This guy got manhandled by the opposing attorney, who cost a fraction of the price. And I even had the much stronger case. This guy is pompous as they come. Also, he billed me for phone calls to the opposing attorney, and never responded to my questions as to the content of the calls. Found out he worked out a deal with the other attorney without my knowledge, then simply worked to downplay my case in order to convince me to accept the deal. He also responded to correspondence with the opposing attorney AFTER I told him NOT to, as I planned on hiring another attorney to address that given matter, since I could not trust this man at all. He's been suspended once before for ethics violations. If you care to find out why, go ahead and hire him. What a piece of work.
I hired and paid over $5,000 in fees for this man to represent my daughter which was paid in full by her court date. He tacked on an additional 658.00 in which he billed her. I said something to him at the time and he said he had additional expenses . I have never had this happen before with any other attorney I have hired. They quote a price and don't add additional expenses. To make a long story short he ended up trying to take her car away due to the lapsed bill. She only began to start a new part-time job within the last 3 months , spent 6 weeks in intensive care at the University of Michigan and other hospitalizations as well. I felt the charges were bogus after I had already paid him what he quoted .Besides, I hired him, not my daughter. He does not care about people. He cares only about money. I had to pay over $900.00 to save a car worth between $4-5000.
