First impressions do not a good bankruptcy attorney make. During our case, his legal secretary left without warning, he changed offices, we never received promised followup work (such as a promise to help combine all negative credit hits following a bankruptcy into one), and his mistakes were so severe we were advised by other longtime professionals that we should file complaints against him. He became impossible to reach via phone or email. My advice if you need help with a bankruptcy case is to work with a long-time, experienced lawyer who has a lot of legal assistance and backup immediately surrounding them in their firm. Lack of experience, backup, and help made this a terrible experience, especially since he charges the industry standard price for handling bankruptcy.
