About
David Neiman is a trial lawyer whose practice is dedicated exclusively to representing victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death matters arising out of medical malpractice, auto and trucking collisions, airplane crashes, and other catastrophic accidents. Prior to joining Baizer Kolar P.C., David practiced at a leading insurance defense firm in Chicago, Illinois. Through his experiences as an attorney for insurance companies, David acquired a special understanding of the defense perspective. David is actively involved with the Illinois State Bar Association. He serves as a Council Member for the Young Lawyers Division, and chairs Professional Development Luncheons in which he coordinates events geared towards educating young lawyers on various issues impacting the legal practice. He further serves as a delegate of the Illinois State Bar Association for the American Bar Association’s annual meetings. David is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Lake County Bar Association. David’s success has been recognized by his peers in the legal community. He has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine, a distinction given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Illinois. David has also been named one of the top 40 trial lawyers in Illinois under the age of 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and further identified as one of the Top 40 Litigators under the age of 40 by the American Society of Legal Advocates. David received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio in 2005 majoring in American Studies. He then attended law school at William and Mary School of Law and Northwestern University School of Law, ultimately earning a Juris Doctor degree in 2009. While in law school, David worked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable experience trying cases and arguing dispositive motions under the supervision of Assistant State’s Attorneys. Following law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge John Daniel Tinder with the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Reviews
In my recent personal injury case (car-pedestrian) David was knowledgeable and well based. He maintained communication well over the extended duration of the case and was supportive in his advice to me. I would recommend him and his firm to anyone having a personal injury or medical malpractice case for above average representation.
