I consulted with Mr. Motter, hired and paid him directly. Mr. Motter was Negligent and Unethical in and with my case. He never reviewed my case with me. He never kept me updated on the status of my case. Mr. Motter cursed me and told me to go take a Prozac because I was upset with my case. I showed up to the hearing on or about the next day, which I knew about from the petition, that was served on me. Approximately six years later a new Judge was appointed to the bench. On or around February 18, 2014, Mr. Motter was served and, went to trial without notifying me about the trial date. As a result, a judgment was rendered against me. I only found out about this after Mr. Motter apparently got into an accident and he claimed he suffered a TBI. Mr. Motter was placed on disability, and a court then ordered the Office of the Disciplinary Counsel to appoint four Curators to notify his clients. One of the Curators sent me a letter, and after consulting with his office, I was notified of that devastating news. I later requested my file, but none of the curators could locate it. I subsequently then had to hire two attorneys, and I submitted a 5 star review on AVVO on one of the attorneys on or about 7/28/2014. The 5 star attorney also could not get my file from the Curators. I am thankful for the help of these two attorneys, who helped me, after Mr. Motter’s negligence and unethical behavior caused me damages. At that trial, I was denied my legal right to represent myself and prove my innocence as a lawful abiding United States Citizen. I stand behind the facts and my review of Mr. Motter. Mr. Motter was supposed to have a duty of zealous advocacy to me while I was his client, however the truthful facts above clearly show otherwise.

Every time I called the office to try to get a status on my case David was extremely rude and abrupt with me and his receptionist treated me the same way. They would say I could get more work done if you don't call me, but months and months would go by and he never called or even mailed me a letter to give me the status of my case. The only thing he ever did was file for a continuance constantly for the last (10) months. I now have a new attorney, who has already gone to court and gotten a court date so I can get this handled and put this in my rear view mirror.
