Mr. Lockhart was assigned to me as a public defender. He did not file anything he said he would, in fact he filed nothing. He failed to show up for court. And after court he became very aggressive and refused to speak to me whatsoever. This guy is just completely unprofessional to the extreme. I was forced to file a complaint with the State Bar who has opened an investigation.

Mr. Lockhart was my brother's appointed attorney and from day one until now which is 4 months later he has never sat down with my brother and discussed the case. He has never once asked him what happened or if he was guilty or innocent. When you call him he never returns your calls, nor responds to emails from you and the courts. He rarely shows up or don't come at all for court proceedings. I can't believe that Mr. Lockhart is still practicing law. I wish I had my Due Diligence on him and we wouldn't be in this predicament.

My husband is currently incarcerated and has Mr. Lockhart as his court-appointed public defender. What I was saying was" not stated in the report". Dose not matter what was on report he should of paid attention to what i had to say. He convinced me to take a plea bargain and when I decided to change my mind he got very angry with me. Told me " You are wasting my time." Then stormed out of court with not another word to say. I could not believe it! He was not in any way professional , was very rude. All I know is I have another court date, don't have money for a lawyer, have an attorney on non- speaking terms!
