David Ferguson is a litigation attorney who uses his broad knowledge and experience of in-court practice to drive positive outcomes for his clients. David is a former public defender who has done dozens of trials and is unafraid of going to court, arguing tough cases even where the odds are slim. He's learned through experience that trials can be surprising events, and even challenging cases can turn into victories when the attorney is sharp and adaptable on the fly.David is a member of the National College of DUI Defense (NCDD) and has developed a thorough knowledge on the science of alcohol breath tests and blood tests for alcohol and drugs. He is a member of the National Public Defense Task Force for NCDD, dedicated to helping public defender advocacy on DUI cases. He is a board member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a recipient of its Distinguished Service Award. Through that organization he pushes for fair criminal justice legislation before the Utah legislature. He currently serves on the advisory committee to the Utah Supreme Court on the development of the court rules of criminal procedure. And he is published in respected law journals on the science of jury selection as well as Middle Eastern antiterrorism law.But first and foremost David is a trial attorney and advocate.
