This morning, I visited the Richard J. Daley Center to plead not guilty to two traffic citations, one for driving left of center and one for obstruction of view. After passing through the metal detector, I met David Eckberg and asked him about my citations. He very calmly explained that he thought we could win the case and I hired him on the spot to represent me. When we got inside the courtroom, I followed his instructions to a "T" and he professionally represented me. Ultimately, the charges were dismissed after the police officer did not show, but even if they weren't, I felt very confident having David there with me. If I ever receive another traffic citation, he's my guy.
