Mr. Dobin also plays a significant role in managing the firm's eDiscovery and records management programs.Active in the community, Mr. Dobin is a member of the Board of Directors of Ezra Academy, where he is a member of the Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Allocations Committee of the Greater New Haven Jewish Federation. He has authored a number of articles on legal topics that have appeared in the Connecticut Law Tribune and publications of the American Bar Association.Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, Mr. Dobin served as Judicial Clerk for Associate Justice Gary Katzmann of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Justice Frank Gaziano of the Suffolk Superior Court in Boston. He was also an associate at Goodwin Procter in Boston and a Civil Litigation Law Clerk at Stein, Mitchell & Muse in Washington, D.C. Mr. Dobin is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court-District of Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and Editor on the Content Subcommittee of the ABA's Young Advocates Committee.Mr. Dobin has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Connecticut Super Lawyers (2013-2016) in the areas of General and Business Litigation, and in 2016, he was recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a "New Leader in the Law".Mr. Dobin received his B.A. in 2002 from the University of Maryland and his J.D., summa cum laude, in 2007 from the George Washington University Law School where he was honored by the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Editor of the Law Review.
